As set forth in the "Management Methods for the Control of Pollution from Electronic Information Products" (Ministry of Information Industry, Order No.39) - referred to as "China RoHS" , the applicable standard SJ/T 11364-2006 : Marking for Control of Pollution Caused by Electronic Information Products, electronic information products shall be marked in accordance with the standard. Logo 1 shall be applied for components that contain none of the six hazardous substances currently restricted by the European Union's (EU) Directive 2002/95/EC .
Logo 2 shall be applied for components that are not currently RoHS compliant and for components that currently have exemptions under the EU Directive. In addition, the names and content of toxic or hazardous substances shall be specified.
Note: The number in logo 2 is only for demonstration. When in actual use, it
shall be replaced with the corresponding environmental protection use period of the product which is pending review under the new directive.
The China RoHS marking requirements take effect on March 1, 2007. We will continue to label our products in the current manner per the EU Directive; however, this labeling will be phased out as China RoHS is expected to be fully implemented in November 2007.
