Abracon's new Low-Cost, CMOS MEMS Oscillators with miniaturized silicon-based internal MEMS resonators offer an exciting new alternative to traditional quartz resonator based Oscillators. MEMS Oscillators offer the opportunity for additional size as well as cost reduction roadmaps not available using quartz-based Oscillator technology. In addition, Abracon MEMS-based Oscillators require less power and can withstand higher levels of shock and vibration compared to quartz based Oscillators. MEMS-based Oscillators provide design engineers new economical timing device options for industrial and consumer electronics applications that are subject to harsh environmental conditions.
